Business Owner Robbed By Thieves Goes Off On Dems

(RepublicanReport.org) – According to recent data from the Los Angeles Police Department, crime rates in the city during 2023 have been a mix of increases and decreases. While violent crime in LA was reportedly down 4.6% year over year, property crime was up 2.1% overall. But some business owners in the area are sick of dealing with crime in general, speaking out about leadership in the city, state, and country.

On December 8, The Daily Wire reported that Delta Construction and Electric Co. owner Ryan Baggaley called out LA Mayor Karen Bass, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D), and even President Joe Biden for letting break-ins get out of hand in Los Angeles. Baggaley said he voted for all three leaders but wants another “reason to vote for [them] again.” The business owner said he’s “sick” of watching his neighbors become robbery victims.

What got Baggaley so angry was the number of break-ins that have been happening in the area. He said the “whole strip” has been burgled and his neighbor has been a victim four times. During an interview with Fox 11 Los Angeles, Baggaley asked, “What are we supposed to do?” According to KTLA5, security footage shows a group of 10 to 15 people driving through the gate of the Delta Construction company building and grabbing what they could before taking off. Baggaley said the thieves stole musical equipment, equipment, and tools, and caused damage that totaled thousands of dollars. He complained that the police response was way too slow. But he didn’t blame the authorities for their slow response, he blamed political leaders for the lack of officers on the street. Bass’ office stated back in August that she takes hiring LAPD officers and keeping them on the job “very seriously.” She recently earmarked $1 million to help with recruiting. Her goal is to have over 9,500 by June 2024.
