Biden Quit After Dems Threatened To Invoke 25th Amendment

(RepublicanReport.org) – On July 13, President Joe Biden posted a letter on social media explaining that he was dropping out of the presidential race for 2024. The news shocked the nation, as the president had been insisting that the rumors about him stopping his bid for re-election were untrue. According to one anonymous source, he could’ve been pushed to this decision.

On July 22, the New York Post wrote an exclusive piece stating an unnamed source claimed that prominent members of the Democratic party threatened to invoke the 25th Amendment if Biden refused to step down. However, that move would have required Vice President Kamala Harris’ cooperation, along with a majority of Biden’s cabinet. Still, the anonymous source said the “debate was a set-up” to start the wheels in motion by convincing those in his party “that he couldn’t run for president.”

The same unnamed source said Hunter Biden had become increasingly concerned lately that his father “was being set up,” and he was worried. They also noted that the president’s son allegedly became more involved in Biden’s business, insisting on attending every official and unofficial meeting. However, it’s unclear how that’s possible, as many meetings involving the POTUS require a certain level of security clearance. Still, multiple anonymous sources made the same assertion. Neither the White House nor the Democratic National Committee commented on the allegations.

In his letter, President Biden promised to address the nation to go into more detail about his decision to step out of the presidential race before the Democratic National Convention, which happens in August. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party is rallying around Harris for the nomination, including Biden, who quickly endorsed her to run in his stead. She has already gained support from enough delegates to secure the spot — although it’s still unofficial until the convention.

The president appeared on prime time on July 24 to explain his choice to end his 2024 campaign.
