RED ALERT — Gulf Erupts ONCE AGAIN!

Iran launched missile and drone strikes on U.S. military bases in three countries just days after both sides signed a deal meant to end their conflict — and now Trump is warning Iran “will no longer exist.”

At a Glance

  • An Iranian drone downed a U.S. Army Apache helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz, prompting American retaliatory strikes on nearly 20 Iranian targets.
  • Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fired back with missiles and drones at U.S. bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan — including F-35 hangars at a base in Jordan.
  • U.S. officials say nearly all Iranian missiles and drones were intercepted, with no reported American casualties or major damage to facilities.
  • The exchange marks the worst escalation since Washington and Tehran agreed to a ceasefire in April 2026, and Iran’s state media warned all diplomacy could now stop.

Apache Down: How the Latest Clash Began

A U.S. Army Apache helicopter went down in waters off Oman’s coast around 3 a.m. on Monday, June 9, 2026, while on patrol near the Strait of Hormuz. U.S. officials said the aircraft was hit by an Iranian one-way attack drone. Both crew members survived. A Navy surface drone located and pulled them from the water after roughly two hours. President Trump confirmed the pilots were safe but immediately blamed Iran and promised a response.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) launched retaliatory strikes at 5 p.m. Eastern time on June 9, at Trump’s direction. American Air Force and Navy fighter jets struck Iranian air defense systems, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz. The operation lasted about four hours. A U.S. official said nearly 20 Iranian targets were hit. CENTCOM called it “a proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression.”

Iran Strikes Back Across the Gulf

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — the country’s elite military force — responded quickly. The Guard said it launched missile and drone attacks on U.S. military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. It claimed to have fired long-range missiles at four sites at the U.S. al-Azraq base in Jordan, targeting F-35 fighter jet hangars and a command center. The Guard warned it was ready to deliver a “crushing and decisive” response to any further U.S. action.

A U.S. official told Reuters that initial reports showed nearly all Iranian missiles and drones were intercepted, with no confirmed casualties or major damage to American facilities. Iran denied it had launched any drone that downed the Apache helicopter. Tehran’s state media also declared that U.S. strikes had violated the ceasefire and warned the attacks “will result in the complete halt of all diplomatic processes.” Both sides are now pointing fingers while the region holds its breath.

A Fragile Peace Deal Now in Jeopardy

The timing makes this crisis especially dangerous. Washington and Tehran had agreed to a ceasefire in April 2026 and recently signed a 14-point agreement aimed at ending their armed conflict. The latest exchange of fire is the most serious breakdown since that deal was reached. A U.S. official told CNN the strikes were meant as a “warning shot” and that Washington believed the action would not derail negotiations — but Iran’s response suggests otherwise.

The Strait of Hormuz sits at the center of this standoff for a reason. About 20 percent of the world’s oil passes through it. Any prolonged military conflict there sends energy prices higher — something American families already struggling with inflation feel at the gas pump. Both sides claim the other fired first. Both claim self-defense. What is clear is that a deal meant to bring stability is now hanging by a thread, and ordinary people on all sides will pay the price if it falls apart completely.
