Youngest Republican Introduces New Law Protecting Trump's Wall

( – One of the defining projects of former President Donald Trump’s tenure in the White House was the border wall. It was his preferred solution to the problem of the unchecked passage of people and drugs across the southern border. Of course, as soon as President Joe Biden took the reins, construction on the wall stopped.

Now, Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) may have found an innovative solution to the problem. On Tuesday, April 13, he shared the below tweet regarding the “Donument” Act, a bill he introduced last week that would make the border wall a national monument. This would make it easier to resume construction on the wall, and work against any attempt to demolish it.

At just 25 years of age, Madison Cawthorn is the youngest member of the House of Representatives. This bill is not his first initiative; he’s led the charge on nine pieces of legislation since he entered office in January and is quickly establishing himself as a rising star in the GOP.
