Potential Draft Dodgers Get Surprise From Selective Service
(RepublicanReport.org) – The Selective Service System is in charge of the federal government records related to potential military conscription, otherwise known as “the draft.” Men between the ages of 18 and 25 who live in the US or are American citizens must generally register for the draft, but women are not obliged to do so. Despite its pro-trans stances in other areas, the Biden administration has insisted men who transition to become women are still bound by the rule.
Following a post from the Selective Service Twitter account appealing to parents to remind their sons to sign up, a number of other users appeared to suggest their children could transition to avoid the draft. This prompted an article from American Military News highlighting the categories of individuals who must register for the draft, per the Selective Service website. The document shows trans women are required to do so, though trans men currently are not.
Parents, if your son is an only son and the last male in your family to carry the family name, he is still required to register with SSS. Learn more about who needs to register at https://t.co/GYbRK99c09. pic.twitter.com/tzW6uKkyl5

Not only is the Biden administration not excusing trans women from the draft, it is in favor of requiring all women to sign up. It opposed the removal of a provision from the National Defense Authorization Act that would have required women to register.
How do you feel about the fact that some people were even considering posing as trans women to avoid the draft?
