(RepublicanReport.com) – The increasingly cozy relationship between large corporations and the left-wing of politics is a growing cause of concern for Conservatives. This tension has bubbled to the surface recently in Georgia; Liberals have slammed their new voting law, leading to a number of large firms denouncing the legislation.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has led the charge in exposing corporations and the Left. On Wednesday, April 28, The Wall Street Journal published an opinion piece by the Texas lawmaker in which he slammed “woke” firms.
He claimed he would no longer accept political donations from corporate PACs, encouraging his colleagues to do the same via Twitter.
Starting today, I no longer accept money from any corporate PAC.
I urge my GOP colleagues to do the same.
For too long, Republicans have allowed the left & their big-business allies to attack our values & ship jobs overseas with no response.

Separation of powers usually refers to the checks and balances that exist between the branches of government. However, there needs to be a separation between political and financial powers as well. If enormous corporations are allowed to bully governments into acting one way or another, our democracy will be the ultimate loser.
