Ron DeSantis SCORES Some of Trump’s Most Valuable Supporters

Some people will tell you former President Donald Trump is the clear frontrunner, but there are still over 2 years to go until the election, and a lot could change over the next 18 months. Interestingly, a new report suggests Florida’s popular Republican Governor Ron DeSantis shares a lot of influential supporters with the 45th president.
According to an analysis of campaign finance data by Politico, Governor DeSantis has received a significant amount of funding from donors who previously contributed heavily to Donald Trump’s campaigns. Friends of Ron DeSantis, a political action committee that supports the governor, has reportedly accepted $3.4 million in donations during this election cycle from individuals and entities who invested in Trump’s bid for reelection. For some, this marks the first time they have backed a candidate in Florida state elections.

It should be noted that Governor DeSantis has not publicly expressed an interest in running for the presidency in 2024 at this point. However, considering his popularity among both voters and donors, could he make the decision to throw his hat in the ring?
