Voters TURN on the Democratic Party – Red Wave Incoming?
(RepublicanReport.org) – The midterm elections are a few short months away and the predictions of a potential “red wave” have been building. President Joe Biden has fallen sharply in the polls for his handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan, the COVID-19 pandemic, the border crisis, and various economic challenges. Newly available evidence shows just how bad things could get for the Democratic Party this November.
According to a report from the Associated Press, approximately one million voters in 43 states have aligned themselves with the Republican Party over the last year. This is compared to about 630,000 individuals who switched over to the Democrats’ side. The pro-GOP trend has been most pronounced in suburban areas and mid-sized cities like Des Moines, IA, Raleigh, NC, and Harrisburg, PA.

The AP interviewed a former Democratic voter its report who registered for the GOP. He reportedly cited issues like vaccine mandates, rising levels of violent crime, and an excessive focus on social justice as reasons for his decision.
Analysts have noted that the demographics now turning red are some of the key groups that voted to oust former President Donald Trump in favor of Joe Biden in November 2020. This trend suggests that these voters may be experiencing buyer’s remorse in the face of Biden’s perceived failures.
Do you think 2022 will be a good year for the Republican Party?
