(RepublicanReport.com) – Liberals have tried to accuse Donald Trump of everything from sexual misconduct to white nationalism during his time in the White House. However, one crime even they can’t try to pin on him is hawkishness. President Trump has been entirely averse to unnecessary engagement in armed conflict during his time in the White House.
However, the same cannot be said of his predecessor. One of Barack Obama’s enduring legacies is the destruction he caused with drone strikes. His extension of George W. Bush’s drone program resulted in huge numbers of civilian deaths in countries like Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen. Despite this, the program failed in its attempt to curb ISIS activity in the Middle East.
Amazingly, Obama doesn’t even have the self-awareness to be sorry about this catastrophic strategic blunder. On Tuesday, December 1, he appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. When asked about drone strikes, Obama defended them, claiming they caused “less collateral damage.”

Of course, Barack Obama’s vice-president during all this was none other than our presumptive president-elect, Joe Biden. It’s therefore conceivable that we could see a return to this kind of ham-fisted foreign policy in the near future.
