(RepublicanReport.com) – Media commentators and liberal politicians have ramped up their insistence in recent weeks that Donald Trump is unfit for public office. Luckily for America, these entities do not decide who holds government positions; voters do, and a lot of voters happen to disagree with the Left’s assessment of the former president.
According to a Morning Consult/Politico poll released on Wednesday, January 27, 81% of GOP voters hold “favorable views” of Donald Trump. This is up from a figure of 76% in mid-January. The poll also revealed that one in two Republicans feel Trump should have a “major role” to play in the party.
NEW: As the Senate signals it may acquit Trump in his impeachment trial, the ex-president's standing is improving among Republican voters.

While Trump’s approval ratings among Republican voters slipped after the incident at the Capitol Building on January 6, it looks like they are bouncing back. With enough voters and GOP leaders standing behind Trump, one can hope we’ll be seeing him back in the political spotlight in the near future.
