(RepublicanReport.org) – In February, the White House released the results from President Joe Biden’s most recent physical, which was completed by Dr. Kevin O’Connor. The detailed report listed the comprehensive review completed by the physician and stated the president was “fit for duty…without any exemptions or accommodations.” Apparently, that wasn’t transparent enough for at least one Navy sailor who allegedly tried to peak at Biden’s medical file.
The US Navy recently confirmed to CBS News that a junior sailor tried to access the president’s medical records through a military medical database a total of three times that month of the doctor’s report. The effort was unsuccessful. While the military wouldn’t say who was accused of the attempts, the Navy did say that the sailor was administratively disciplined.
A US official revealed that the sailor allegedly accessed the Genesis Medical Health System to view the records but “did not pull up the right Joe Biden.” It’s unclear if the person accessed any medical records at all. Apparently, the military member works in the Navy’s hospital corps in Virginia.
Navy Commander Tim Hawkins released a statement to CBS News saying that Biden’s “personal information” was not compromised. The sailor’s co-worker reported the incident, leading to an investigation. The accused said they looked up Biden’s name simply “out of curiosity.” Even if the sailor had gotten close to the president’s medical record, the Navy said it couldn’t be accessed because of its restricted status. President Biden was notified of the attempted breach soon after the incident.
The Navy did not reveal the exact punishment exacted upon the enlisted sailor for his alleged actions. However, the accused was not separated from the military branch and is reportedly still on duty. The White House briefly addressed the incident, stating that the president’s February physical, which took place shortly after the incident, was already scheduled and “not impacted by this incident.”
