Megyn Kelly Calls Trump’s Meeting “Alarming”
(RepublicanReport.org) – Former President Donald Trump has raised a lot of eyebrows recently. His November 15 announcement that he was once again running for the White House was met less enthusiastically than he might have hoped due to some of his favored candidates performing poorly in the midterm elections. More recently, he has courted criticism over a meeting with musician Kanye West, now known as Ye, alleged white supremacist Nick Fuentes, and others at his Mar-a-Lago home.
Conservative journalist Megyn Kelly recently welcomed National Review journalist Charles CW Cooke onto her podcast for a wide-ranging discussion touching on the controversial dinner. Kelly said she believed the former president’s claim that he didn’t know who Fuentes was prior to his arrival at Mar-a-Lago. However, she stated it was “alarming,” nonetheless, given the possibility Trump might have been “fanning a certain flame” by hosting such an individual.

Cooke agreed with her view, stating Trump needed a more robust screening process for guests coming to his home due to his status as a former US president. He also stated Trump should not have invited Ye, given his recent antisemitic remarks on various platforms.
How do you feel about Trump’s decision to sit down with Ye and Nick Fuentes? Do you believe figures within the Republican Party may share Megyn Kelly’s view of the event?
