Laura Ingraham: Kamala Harris’ Campaign Is Plain

(RepublicanReport.org) – While not official, it seems that Vice President Kamala Harris could secure the Democratic nomination for president this year. President Joe Biden wrote a letter to the nation on July 21 and followed up by addressing the nation in prime time a few days later to cement his choice. Fox News host Laura Ingraham had a few words to say about the new Harris campaign.

The host recently addressed the Veep’s bid on “The Ingraham Angle,” stating Harris’ campaign had “no real substance” but was leaning on “theatrics, celebrity endorsements,” and “manufactured enthusiasm.” Ingraham said things in America will get worse under a Harris presidency, stating she’s “worse than Biden” once you dig deeper into the issues. The host said the VP would grow the government and push through progressive policies if she wins the White House.

Ingraham hammered her points home by using clips from 2019 about her views on immigration, medical care, and addressing climate change. She also used Harris’ remarks from 2020 about the police to show her thoughts about public safety in the wake of George Floyd’s murder and the following BLM protests. The host warned her viewers not to get “sucked into the Kamala cult of cool,” claiming that Harris doesn’t answer to the American people but her “donors and the far far left.”

After the vice president emerged as the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination following Biden’s announcement, most high-ranking members of her party have rallied around her. Harris raised a tremendous amount of money so far and held her first rally. Ingraham’s point, however, was that once the initial “razzle dazzle” of a new candidate wears off, she argued that there was no substance to warrant the initial excitement.

The Democratic National Committee will hold a virtual roll call in early August, at which point it will officially nominate a candidate for November. That person is expected to be Harris.
