(RepublicanReport.org) – Despite the two major scandals engulfing New York’s Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo, he refuses to admit guilt or step away from his position. With a gubernatorial election next year, his days may well be numbered anyway. However, there are plenty of reasons to think he might not last that long.
On Monday, June 7, the Wall Street Journal reported that federal prosecutors have issued subpoenas in relation to materials used on Governor Cuomo’s book, released last October. Officials want to see materials used to pitch the book to publishers, as well as certain contracts.
That 5.1 million dollar book may be the best thing that ever happened.
Because his words are being used against him in the highest court of the law.

This is reportedly part of an expansion of the investigation into Cuomo’s affairs. Initially, officials were only looking at deaths of long-term care residents during the pandemic, but they’re now examining Cuomo’s administrative actions as well.
If this subpoenaed information shows discrepancies between Cuomo’s public and private communications on COVID-19, investigators believe it could be a major building block in any case against him. We will have to wait and see.
