Elon Musk Drops A BIG NAME For 2024
(RepublicanReport.org) – Eccentric multi-billionaire Elon Musk has been a fixture in news headlines in recent months. The world’s richest person engaged in a bid to buy social media platform Twitter before calling into question the large number of bot accounts on the site. Musk is now making headlines for his recent statements about American politics.
On Wednesday, June 15, the entrepreneur tweeted he voted for GOP candidate Mayra Flores in a Texas special election for a traditionally Democratic House seat in the state. Flores ultimately won the election. Musk also shared that this marked the first time he’d ever voted Republican and predicted there would be a “red wave” in this year’s midterm elections.
I voted for Mayra Flores – first time I ever voted Republican.
Massive red wave in 2022.

Responding to comments from other Twitter users, Musk then stated he was considering voting Republican in the presidential election in 2024. Musk named Florida’s popular Republican Governor Ron DeSantis when asked what specific candidate he was considering backing.
DeSantis still has not confirmed whether or not he’s interested in running for president. In response to Musk’s support, DeSantis said he’s currently focused on 2022, but that he “welcome[s] support from African-Americans.” This was a reference to the fact that Musk was born in South Africa.
Musk believes the Florida conservative has a better chance of emerging victorious than former Democratic candidate Andrew Yang, a notable proponent of universal basic income. Musk said he gave his support to Yang in the last presidential race.
In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party.
But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican.
Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold … 🍿

In a tweet last month, Musk indicated he had switched party allegiances because Democrats had become associated with “division & hate” rather than kindness.
Do you agree with Elon Musk’s reasoning?
