(RepublicanReport.com) – You’ll often hear Liberals call American political figures “fascists” or “Nazis” if they encounter statements or policies with which they disagree. What this illustrates, above anything else, is that these people have little understanding of what it truly is to live under a suppressive totalitarian regime.
On Monday, January 4, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) published a new directive on what its 92 million members can and cannot say in public. From now on, no member is allowed to publicly express disagreement with decisions made by CCP leaders. They’re also prohibited from discussing the misconduct of other party members on the internet.
Ironically, the CCP stated these measures would be of assistance in “boosting democracy within the party.”
The rule of thumb in a democracy is that you're free to express your views
The Rule of Xi in the #CCP is that you're absolutely not

It’s not surprising that a party with motives as dangerous as those of the CCP would want to silence its critics. Given China’s deteriorating relationship with the US, it’s worrying to see this additional step the party has taken toward absolute power.
