(RepublicanReport.com) – Throughout his presidency, Donald Trump has attracted near-ceaseless criticism from the Left for his policies. The immigration policy changes he made drew particular ire from his political opponents.
Under a Joe Biden presidency, however, Trump’s rules on immigration are unlikely to stay in force for long. On Friday, January 15, Biden announced his intention to prioritize legislation that will provide a path to citizenship for around 11 million illegal immigrants. The bill would shorten the time required foreign nationals have to wait for both permanent residency and citizenship.
Because of the Democrat-led impeachment process and resulting delay before senate consideration, Biden claims the legislation is unlikely to pass within the first 100 days of his term.
Biden’s comments have drawn sharp criticism from conservative voices. At a time when Americans are struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic and months of political unrest, this impeachment action seems like a strange priority for the incoming administration.
I am AGAINST Joe Biden's plan to give citizenship to 11 million illegal immigrants.
We are in the middle of recovering from the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.
Massive amnesty & open borders are a slap in the face to every American who is struggling right now.

This proposed move could signal the beginning of a radical presidency. Since 2016, the defining characteristic of the Democrat party has been opposition to Donald Trump and his policies. It looks like that trend isn’t set to end any time soon.
