White House HIRING Decision – Biden Brings in Help!

(RepublicanReport.org) – In recent weeks, many media commentators have noted the trend of departures from President Joe Biden’s White House. Former Press Secretary Jen Psaki has left the team, along with a number of other press officials. Now, though, Biden has brought a new team member into the fold.

According to reports, Biden has appointed Keisha Lance Bottoms, the former Atlanta mayor, to direct the Office of Public Engagement, one of the most senior White House roles. It’s not clear yet exactly when Bottoms will start in the role, though it should be within the next few weeks. She’ll replace Cedric Richmond, who departed the White House in May to take a position with the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

The House GOP quickly pointed out Bottoms’ history as a supporter of the “Defund the Police” movement following the news of her appointment to her new position.

This appointment comes at a crucial time for Joe Biden and the Democrats. The midterm elections are just five months away, and Republicans are working hard to try to flip both chambers of Congress back to their control. Bottoms has committed to staying at least until after the elections.

Do you think Keisha Lance Bottoms will do good work in her new role?
