(RepublicanReport.com) – Regrettably, the US has a lot of foreign enemies at the moment. As if the challenges posed by COVID-19 weren’t enough, our leaders are also dealing with tensions from a number of aggressors overseas. Now, it looks like two of our biggest rivals have decided to team up together.
On Monday, March 22, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Xi Jinping’s office revealed that he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un had exchanged messages agreeing to cooperate on the “Korean peninsula issue.” According to Jinping, this partnership will aim to “ … make new contributions to regional peace, stability, development and prosperity.”
This by itself doesn’t seem threatening, but according to US News, analysts feel the move represents a message to President Biden not to persist with certain Trump-era policies. China has always had a close relationship with volatile North Korea, and the CCP likely has a degree of influence in decisions around North Korean missile testing, which has recently become a significant concern.

President Biden has frequently attracted criticism for his soft stance on China. Developments like this should hopefully encourage his administration to take a firmer position against the CCP’s activities.
