(RepublicanReport.com) – Twenty-one members of white supremacy groups based in Utah, including the Silent Aryan Warriors, Soldiers of Aryan Culture, and Noble Elect Thugs, have been placed under arrest. On Friday, October 16, the Department of Justice unsealed indictments containing gun and drug charges against these individuals.
Mike Schoenfeld directs the Salt Lake Area Gang Project, a policing unit dedicated to fighting this type of crime in Utah. Schoenfeld stated the issue of race-related gang crime has deep roots in the state, but also that the groups investigated here had links to similar organizations across the country.
Recent developments reflect this fact. Just last week, federal agents arrested members of similar groups in Texas, Mississippi, and Kentucky.
Federal officials have indicted and charged 21 Utah-based white supremacists for allegedly selling and distributing drugs and firearms in the state. The announcement comes days after 24 others were indicted for crimes in Texas, Mississippi, and Kentucky https://t.co/Z4BksjRNgU

The rise of white supremacy has been a huge cause for concern in the United States over the last few years. These events serve as a reminder that hate groups like this exist, and that they pose a real threat to our society. However, it’s encouraging to see that our federal policing agencies are capable of tackling this issue effectively.
